16 MARCH 2020 – Our SWEPA Enriche team over the weekend facilitated workshops with the villagers in Kg Sonsogon Magandai and Kg Sg Magandai. These workshops were conducted to bring forth aspirations, address challenges, build entrepreneurial skills, enhance the ability to manage finances and undertake sustainable living practices by the women and their communities .
Our SWEPA initiative aims to enhance economic prosperity for rural women and their communities by equipping them with practical skills they can use to establish meaningful livelihoods such as Kelulut bee harvesting and agro farming. This round , they were taught how to make cassava & sweet potatoes crackers, chips, starch from scratch and pineapple chutney.
We provide training programmes to help build the confidence, sense of community, and skills that women need to succeed. Addressing critical areas of physical, mental, and social wellbeing, our Swepa Enriche committee and Pacos team takes a “head-heart-hands” approach. The impact of the shift in mindset and thought process depicts a deeper impact of the workshops.
