International Women’s Day 2019

International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Run annually on March 8, the day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

IWD provides an important moment to showcase commitment to women’s equality, launch new initiatives and action, celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness, highlight gender parity gains and more.

This year, our objective is to raise such awareness, celebrate successes and discuss challenges faced by our very own Sabahan women. Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day through our forum:

Venue: Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa

SWEPA Members: RM60 per person
Non SWEPA members: RM70 per person

Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (SWEPA) is a Non-Governmental Organisation where formation was spearheaded by the Economic Committee of the Sabah Women’s Advisory Council in March 1993. It was registered with the Registrar of Societies in May 1994.
